Hi Christine, thank you for your update. Well done! I was very interested that in Kenya the use of plastic bags is prohibited. A great idea. Saves seeing the multitude of plastic in the bushes and on roadside. I wonder why other countries have not done that, especially those that pride themselves on environment. I use a plaited carrier bag from Kenya with string handles. Very useful and hardwearing. all best wishes, Henry

How are you doing? It`s my great concern to get to know how you are proceeding and if you are well , that`s my pleasure. On my side am doing great especially in my academics part.

I am hereby writing this to inform you that we have come for a long holiday from school. It was actually good at school and so busy with studies especially at this time we are preparing for the end of year exams or else what we call Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.

Currently I am visiting the Kenya Connect Library to get revision materials to help me improve on my weak areas. I am also visiting the maker space learn hand skills like knitting.

I have nothing much to say but just thank you donors for support of education fees towards my education. My Almighty God bless you all.

I just returned from a month in Kenya visiting a small preK-JSS school run by a close Kenyan friend. Many high schoolers were on break and I enjoyed visiting with them and hearing about their studies and their hopes for the future.

I am writing to inform you that I am finally done with the national exam which we have been doing for the past three weeks.This marked the end of my secondary school education.

The exam has been fair but a bit tricky and I am eagerly waiting for the results on 17th December this year.

Finally,I really appreciate for your support in my secondary school education that enabled me to attend one of the best national schools in the country.This has enabled to interact with students from many tribes and I have learnt to live with them all.Being a prefect also in the school ,I have also developed a passion in leadership.Nowadays I spent my time reading documentaries , watching movies and I am reading a book titled `The Pier Falls` by Mark Haddon. I would like to take this chance to greet you and express my sincere gratitude to you. How have you been? It is my hope that you are as good as I am. The term has being long since we were undertaking the final examination in secondary level but to my enjoyment I have made it through.

Although the year had a lot of challenges including the floods and teachers' strike, I did my level best to ensure that the disasters did not affect my academics. Had the adage "Determination knows no barrier" not being ratified? I therefore wish to take this chance in a special way to thank you for your never ending support in paying my school fees throughout the four years.
